c) Information From Third Parties
We may also collect information about you from third-party sources that you interact with in the course of using our Service. This includes analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and Mixpanel, which provide us with aggregated or anonymized data to help us understand how users engage with our platform and to improve the overall user experience. If you choose to sign in to SysModeler using third-party authentication providers such as Google or GitHub, we may receive basic profile information including your name, email address, and an authentication token, which are used solely to facilitate secure access to your account.
If you choose to connect a third-party requirements management platform—such as IBM DOORS, Jama, Jira, or Polarion—we may access and import requirement data from those systems directly into your SysModeler workspace. This may include structured metadata such as requirement titles, descriptions, identifiers, dependencies, and related project documentation. Such imported data is processed solely in accordance with your instructions and is not shared externally or used for any purpose beyond what is necessary to provide you with the core modeling functionality of the Service.
You may disconnect third-party integrations at any time. Once disconnected, we will cease accessing data from the connected platform. Any previously imported data will remain in your SysModeler account and continue to be handled under the same data handling terms outlined in this Privacy Policy.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to operate, improve, and personalize our services. This includes generating, storing, and managing SysML models based on system requirements you provide either through direct upload or integration with third-party requirement management tools. Your data allows us to deliver core functionalities, such as creating projects, saving diagrams, and maintaining a personalized modeling environment.
We use your behavioral and interaction data—such as how you edit AI-generated diagrams, which outputs you accept or reject, and feedback you provide—to enhance the performance of our AI agents. This helps us deliver more accurate, context-aware, and user-specific modeling suggestions. While this data is processed for learning purposes, it is not shared externally and remains associated only with your account unless explicitly authorized by you.
We may also use your contact information to communicate with you about account activity, service updates, or transactional matters. With your consent, we may send you marketing communications or product announcements. Additionally, we use collected data to analyze system performance, detect and prevent fraudulent activities, fulfill legal obligations, and enforce our terms of service.
4. How We Share Your Information
We take data confidentiality seriously and limit sharing of user information to what is necessary for delivering and improving the Service.
First, we do not share, sell, or disclose any model-related data, including uploaded system requirements, generated SysML diagrams, or saved projects. This modeling content, in all formats (plain text, PDF file, images), remains fully private and is only accessible to you or those you explicitly choose to share it with through our collaboration features.
Second, we may share limited, non-model-related user data (such as usage patterns, contact details, or interaction history) with trusted service providers for purposes like marketing, analytics, and customer relationship management. This helps us improve user experience and deliver relevant communications. However, we do not sell your personal information to any third party.
Third, we may disclose information when required to do so by applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental authorities. Such disclosures do not include your modeling content unless we are legally compelled and permitted to provide it.
5. Your Rights and Data Retention
Depending on your location and applicable data protection laws, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data. These include the right to access the information we hold about you, request correction of your data, object to or restrict certain processing activities, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, you may contact us at info@sysmodeler.ai. We may take steps to verify your identity before processing your request.
We retain your personal data as necessary to provide you with our services, and to comply with legal obligations. We might periodically review the data we store and delete or anonymize it.

The SysModeler website is secured with HTTPS encryption, meaning that all data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted and protected from interception during transit. We also implement reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure of your data.
